How It Started
The two met years ago at their children’s Montessori school in Bozeman and soon found
themselves collaborating on everything from school board initiatives to the groundbreaking
(and delightfully unconventional) use of a yurt as a kindergarten classroom—Montana’s first
of its kind. That creative partnership evolved into something even bigger: a shared passion
for exceptional travel, unique luxury, and deeply local experiences.

As seasoned travelers and connoisseurs of the good life, Deborah and Julia founded 5C Travel
Society to reimagine what destination travel can feel like. Whether it’s a summer adventure
